Is functionality a lost art of software engineering? While today's inept coders chase whatever moronic fads lure the contemporary youths, USAPhotomaps is--and will forever remain--the most useful GIS software, per line of code, ever created by Mankind. My condolences to the dying breed of intelligent humans, who stare in widening disbelief at the high-water mark left by photomaps et al, as the onslaught of a-clowns at Google/Apple/Bing maps continue to undermine the availability of the most basic map/satellite functionality that we took for granted in the 90's.
